Restaurants near Watts Park

We had a nice family dinner with our two children. Our table was outside in a greenhouse. That was perfect, private, and created an unusual magical winter atmosphere that we loved. The food was amazing, and the kitchen was accommodating (one of our boys wanted a dish to be prepared in a certain way). Our server, Ibrahim, was super nice, fast, and helpful. The greenhouse is an amazing concept. The only downside for us was that despite the radiator inside the greenhouse, the blankets they supplied, and the heating mushrooms above, it was still pretty cold, but it didn't bother us. We would definitely come back.

Food great and service great. If I could give it 6 stars I would do so!

Merlos hasn’t disappointed me yet. I rarely eat meat, but tried the skirt steak. It was delicious. (Be careful if you’re sensitive to spicy). Two of us shared a few dishes, including the caprese salad. It usually has 3 sections, but they gave us each 2. We had fried calamari- very large portion and perfectly prepared.

The restaurant is outstanding and beautiful. The food is outstanding. The service was a little slow at first, especially for a Monday night (but it was packed, on a Monday night!) And the line cook salting the crispy potatoes was waaaaay too heavy handed. I politely and not even remotely annoyed mentioned it to the server and they comped both the potatoes and one of our desserts, which was totally unnecessary and unexpected. We would come back again and again. In fact this is my second trip!

Great experience. Food was delicious and service excellent.
