From the short wait we had, to being seated at our table, I knew it was going to be an amazing experience. Our server Keith was well rounded about everything my husband asked about. From the bread, to the end of our meal, everything was delicious. After our meal Keith encouraged us to walk around the restaurant, go up to tge 2nd and 3rd floors and look at everything. I've been to this location before, but was never aware of all the amazing things one could look at. It was so good, wevmet friends there the next day for lunch.More infoColumbia Restaurant - Ybor CityPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Tampa•4.7

Always an interesting, well prepared menu, we like the traditional "go to" offerings as well as the seasonal and creative new additions. The best burger in town is a "no brainer" - the pompano a less common treat - comfort food doesn't get better than the meatloaf and the shrimp po' boy is tender, fresh and yummy. And don't skip the chili! Enjoy a creative cocktail, a decent wine list and always a house-brewed beer (it's strawberry season with a special strawberry enhanced brew) - really can't go wrong. Topping off the excellent food and great libations is super service - if you are fortunate enough to have Xena as your server (a true "gem") good service becomes great service. Don't miss out on the lovely walk along the Hillsborough River as well as don't forget to look up - Humpty Dumpty is precariously looking over the outside lounging area! Enjoy!More infoUlelePrice: Expensive• American• Tampa•4.8
- NNikoleTampa / Central Florida West •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe went for brunch and it was great! My husband had eh Elvis French Toast and I had the OG Roots breakfast. We had beignets for an appetizer. Everything tasted so fresh and just amazing flavors. Staff was very friendly. Casey, our server, also said the evening dinners and especially the Chef specials are a great reason to come back and visit. We told some of our friends immediately after the visit.More infoPropagation Whiskey Bar and KitchenPrice: Expensive• American• Plant City•4.6

The restaurant is tucked away between an older, warehouse type district and the city’s commercial center across a sizable lake - with parks scattered along the lakefront, dotted with sculptures and pedestrian walkways. The restaurant itself is of rustic western architecture with a converted barn-like interior trimmed with wormwood and featuring cowhide-upholstered booths. Decor includes wall-mounted deer heads and longhorns, as any Texas steakhouse ought to display. The menu is pretty straightforward: Steak, steak and more steak with a smattering of chicken entrees, pork chops and a surf/turf option involving shrimp. For those who need greens, there is no salad entrée per se but a dinner salad is available, along with sides of asparagus and broccoli. For a high-end steakhouse, I thought their filet mignon could have been more tender. I order my steaks medium rare - warm red center - and this cut was cooked exactly how I ordered it, but it was “chewy” in texture such that I was left with a juiceless mass that couldn’t be swallowed until long after the flavor was gone. The sides - garlic mashed redskin potatoes or a salted-skin Idaho baker, were just fine. The dessert list features at least a half dozen supersweet cakes, brownies and ice cream combinations but the entrée menu has such massive amounts of beef that I had no room for dessert. What was truly remarkable about this experience, however, was the service. Our waitperson, Amber, was just the right amount of attentive. She answered all our questions, was cheerfully willing to accommodate some special requests, and kept us in her field of vision even though the restaurant was jam packed - so when it was time for the check, for example, all I had to do was give a little wave. In addition, the manager stopped by our table to check on us. I would recommend this place to my friends any day.More infoTexas Cattle Company-Lakeland, FLPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Lakeland•4.7
