Dominic and Jackie Galati purchased Dominic's on the Hill in 1971 and moved in above the restaurant. Within two years, Dominic began winning national awards and has continued to do so for the last 40 years. This is an exceptional restaurant with fine Italian cuisine, professional, friendly service, & an extensive wine list. Dominic oversees the kitchen,and the menu includes fresh seafood, veal, tenderloin, lamb, and many other choices. The restaurant has a Florentine atmosphere, with low lighting, white tablecloths, & classic oil paintings.     We started with beet carpaccio which was amazing. Then shared the pear and gorgonzola salad. The birthday boy got a steak and I got the Delicata Squash side. At that point I was so full that I could barely finish half, even though it was delicious. Everything about the evening was wonderful and our server, Jordan, was engaging. There when we needed her but not hovering. It's a lively atmosphere, so not the place if you want to have a quiet convo but the food and service are top notch.

    We always love Brasserie but this was extra special. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary and I dropped a note about that in the reservation request. Our server, Jessica, helped provide a great experience, We had a beautiful spot in the restaurant (flowers and sparkling wine awaiting), great found and drink, and another reminder of why this is one of our favorite spots. Add this place to our list!

    Fine dining at its best. Had the food that we were looking for, steak tar tar and shrimp cocktails. Steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection. Thank you 801 Chop house for the twenty year Anniversary it was great.
