- MMaryamVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •31 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis is now my favorite Tahoe restaurant. Everything was absolutely delicious. The stuffed quail was an amazing appetizer. The butternut squash soup with a hint of curry was very unique, delicious, and flavorful. The Branzino with the scallops were one of the best preparations of my favorite fish. The ambiance very cozy and a bit whimsical. Service was great. I love everything about this restaurant. Definitely will dine there again.More infoPlumpJack Cafe Olympic ValleyPrice: Very Expensive• American• Olympic Valley / Squaw Valley•4.8
- JJenVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFantastic dinner with extended family! The Granite Chief cocktail was refreshing and complex. Highly recommend the duck starter. The cut of the day was the bison rib-eye, which was delicious. If they have it, definitely opt for it. My dad had the pork chop, which he praised as better than what he recently had at a 1-star Michelin restaurant in the Bay Area. The catch of the day, sea bream, included Kauai prawn, mussels and delicious mushrooms. The grilled lemon cheesecake was amazing, while the chocolate mousse was shockingly too chocolately for the chocolate fans in my family. Overall, the tastiest meal in the Tahoe area we’ve had in a while. Definitely plan to come back!More infoSix Peaks GrillePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Olympic Valley / Squaw Valley•4.6
- JjenniferVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •64 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a really nice, casual dinner. The server was by herself in a busy dining room but managed to keep everyone happy, including the party of 12! I had the Beetroot Pinot which was good, hubby had a beer. He started with the Caesar which had plenty of anchovies (special request). The salad was good, if a little small for $15. I had the Tahoe Buddha Bowl with salmon which was outstanding. Hubby had the tacos. They were really good but only two. Enough with a salad. We will absolutely be back!More infoSunnysidePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Tahoe City•4.5

- PPamSan Francisco Bay Area •13 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 29, 2024We had reservations for 8pm however showed up half an hour early. The host was super nice and was able to seat us even though it was obviously super busy on Thanksgiving. The waitress was on top of everything! Even got us two rolls heated and warmed up for us! The ambiance of the restaurant was romantic with good mood lightning. The only negative item I would have to mention is the two restrooms were super busy and there was a line of 4 people who had to wait over 10 minutes for the people in the restrooms to open up. Overall, I would definitely return to this restaurant for lunch or dinner!!!More infoRiver Ranch Lodge & RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Tahoe City•4.7
