We are "regulars" at Clyde's Tower Oaks Lodge. We like the variety on the menu and quality of the food, the really excellent service, and the ambiance especially in "The Great Room' which is an authentic Adirondack lodge moved to Maryland. Favorites on the menu include the Icelandic Cod, the Chicken #1 Sandwich, burgers, and their chili (which combined with a side salad is a full meal). Rotating items on the menu which are also great include the French dip sandwich, anything with crabmeat, and various tacos. Their take on a cob salad (linear instead of round) is delicious.

Our waiteress was simply the best, great food. Loved the cheesecake dessert.

This is an excellent choice for a special event, or if you are feeling like indulging in a fancy cocktail! The velvet chairs and gold hardware is such a vibe. Food is great, everything is very well done and ingredients are excellent. The cocktails are pricey but they are good and served artfully in fabulous glassware. Highly recommend for a small group of people, it is not a large space. Service is wonderful.

We enjoyed a 3 hour birthday luncheon for party of 6 on a very rainy weekday. The service was friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. We had appetizers, entrees, and several desserts. We made the meal family style and the staff was very accommodating bringing extra plates and silverware. The food was excellent. The Baby back ribs were a standout among the entrees as well as the Cobb Salad. All the appetizer and desserts were delicious. Although, it is Xmas season, not a standout Xmas ambiance, however it still lovely California, airy feel. We’ve loved Summer House since their opening several years ago, they have been consistent with high quality food and well trained staff. Always solid choice in Pike & Rose neighborhood.

Impeccable service. Welcoming staff and atmosphere. Brilliant sauces. The house-made bread is wonderful, as is the baked squash dish. Desserts are divine (the custard and ice cream -wow!). Portions might be a tad bigger, but were delicious (lamb skewer and baked cod). I wish I didn't have to speak without raising my voice (perhaps a bit of sound abatement would help?). All in all, a lovely dining experience.
