Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca.     We stayed one night and had dinner at Duncombe Arms. The accommodation is really lovely - rooms are so well appointed and very clean. Great walk-in shower and one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on in a hotel / guest house. Lovely views from the room with table and chairs outside for when it's not snowing! The meal was outstanding!! One of the nicest rib-eye steaks I have had for along time. Although the wine list appeared shorter than usual with some crossed off, what I had was very good (lovely Malbec to go with the steak). The breakfast was excellent, as was the service throughout. Will be back for sure.

    Had the most outstanding experience at Hawksmoor. Me and my friend went as a late birthday treat us birthday and the staff were incredible our waitress went above and beyond to help us and make sure we had an amazing experience. This is the second time I have visited and service has withheld. The food was absolutely incredible and we are desperate to go back!
