The Lexington is more than a restaurant, it’s an institution. Located on the corner of Lexington Parkway and Grand Avenue, this St. Paul community was the most fashionable at the turn of the 19th century. The St. Paul elite lived just blocks away and the first electric trolley brought visitors up and down Grand Avenue. The Lexington opened in 1935, after the end of prohibition, and was a popular neighborhood bar to gather and socialize. From drinks to dessert our food and drinks were outstanding. Service was exception and we really appreciated that our server allowed us to sample the wine before we ordered a glass. She also surprised us with a birthday candle with the dessert we ordered and a gift code for the picture booth! Again, she made it an exceptional experience for all four of us! We will definetly be back.

Chianti Grill continues to provide a consistent fine dining experience when many other restaurants have gone down hill. Our server was delightful. Setting was lovely. My only complaint was the food wasn’t as hot as it should have been. It was still good.

Amazing bloody mary and mimosa bar, almost a meal in themselves! We were celebrating a birthday, which got us a free photo booth token and dessert to share. I didn't realize how big this place is! We were seated in the quieter dining side, but the live music playing in the other area wasn't too loud. Looks like a nice happy hour, too, so we'll have to return soon for that!
