The menu was tantalizing, the service was extraordinary, the food was great - especially the ricotta appetizer, and the red sauce on our pasta and gnocchi was amazing - the Italian bread served us well, ensuring that every drop of that sauce was consumed. The staff are a team, and there are many and they are all working - it was fun to watch. The one "mistake" we made is sitting near the kitchen, because we were forced to see all of the dishes we didn't order come out - I am pretty sure I would find a way to eat here several times per month if I lived nearby.More infoQuartino - ChicagoPrice: Moderate• Italian• River North (Chicago)•4.5

It is hard not to have the Dover sole. My favorite. And tonight. Joseph was our waiter. He was superb. Attentive but not too much. Classy. Friendly. But not too much. Works on the west side of the restaurant. I would ask for him. Can’t wait to go back.More infoRL RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.9

The freshly baked bread was unbelievably good. The smokey carrots were to die for. The whitefish was great. The Signature Prime Rib sandwich just melts in your mouth. The crab cake was so light and full of seafood and the Millionaire ice cream was so uniquely delicious! I can't wait to come back for more! The Evie is at the top of my list of favorite restaurants! I adore the location, too.More infoThe EviePrice: Expensive• American• River North (Chicago)•4.8

We had a mocktail and a glass of red whilst waiting for our table. Lovely decor and ambience. Our waiter was very helpful and talked us through the menu. Food was outstanding. We had calamari, fried shrimp and crab linguine. They gave us a complimentary slice of key lime pie. Oh my god this dessert was amazing. We were so full after dinner we were going to skip dessert and this arrived!! It would have been rude not to eat it. The whole experience has made a great start for our 4 nights stay.More infoJoe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone CrabPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• River North (Chicago)•4.9
- JJanVIPChicago / Illinois •32 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe went there on Christmas Eve for a one- night only special of Beef Wellington. This dish was a highlight and was presented as a work of art in your plate. We sat at the seats overlooking the kitchen. It was fun to see the very busy kitchen humming along without out much banter. We had the octopus appetizer. It was grilled and the best, most tender octopus I ever ate. Our waiter Amilcar, was great at recommending wines to go with the meal. He also recommended the octopus, and I thanked him over and over for that one. Thanks to chef Carlos too!!More infoTzucoPrice: Moderate• Mexican• River North (Chicago)•4.7
