- IIvyLas Vegas •2 reviews5.0Dined todayMade a reservation here for our final meal on the island. Was told by multiple people that this is the best place to eat on the island. As a vegan I really appreciated the knowledge and help of our server Howard to accommodate me. My non-vegan family really enjoyed their meals too. Overall it was awesome. Pretty pricey but glad we got to try it.More infoMerriman's – Waimea – Big IslandPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kamuela•4.9
- LLisaMarieVIPHawaii •49 reviews5.0Dined todayWe had a late lunch for my husband’s birthday. Everything was stellar, yet again! I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Put simply, the food is phenomenal, the service is too. We drive over an hour and a half, to come here for all our special occasions. Today we had the Warm Goat and Macadamia nut appetizer followed by Crab and Avocado salad (my favorite) and Shrimp and Crab Cajun pasta. Both excellent. Followed by the house made Piña Colada cake- which is a dreamy concoction of white chocolate mouse , coconut and pineapple chunks that tumble out of the cake. Thanks again for another great birthday!More infoTommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar - Mauna Lani, Big IslandPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kamuela•4.7
- FFrankVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •34 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoBrowns Beach House is the perfect location to celebrate any special occasion The ocean and sunset views are perfect and the outdoor seating allows views from every table. We had fish and steak- both were great. They also have creative starters and salads. The service from Chelsi and Jermaine was exceptional. There was live music both nights and that added to the wonderful ambience. We will be back.More infoBrown's Beach House - The Fairmont Orchid - Kohala CoastPrice: Very Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kohala Coast•4.6
- JJohnVIPVancouver / British Columbia •190 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAn absolutely fabulous dinner experience to celebrate Terri’s birthday. Beautiful waterfront table and glorious red sunset (due to vog). Our server Briana made our evening extra special by introducing daily specials, providing exemplary service and always with a smile. We enjoyed the shrimp and kale salad appetizers daily fresh catch chef’s special red snapper (prepared perfectly delicious ) and macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi paired with the best of wines. Also wanted to say special thanks to our buser Jason who almost invisibly kept us well hydrated and removed dishes at just the right time. Manta, you never cease to amaze us. We will be back.More infoManta at Mauna KeaPrice: Very Expensive• Pacific Rim• Kohala Coast•4.5
- AAleciaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •14 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOur fam of 4 requested outside seating and expectation was met. Service was impeccable! We were always promptly served and checked on — questions were happily answered and added info given without inquiry! IAN was too notch! Manager also came over to introduce himself and check on our contentment with meal. Food was delicious. Loved the Kampachi done warayaki style. The corn ribs are a must! The Nikko cocktail drink was delicious and refreshing. The Goose dirty martinis gave option for blue cheese olives and it was off the hook! Coffee Semifreddo was like nothing we’d tried and with the banana side flavor …made it a must! Cost here is $$$$$ but if you’re looking for a memorable and special dining experience while on Island— this fits the bill!More infoCanoeHousePrice: Very Expensive• Creative Japanese• Kamuela•4.7
