Lovely fresh hot food presented well and good portion size.Always a pleasure to visit as always great quality food and choice and very reasonable pricing.Fabulous staff makes a visit even more enjoyable.

What an experience, travelled over to Cardiff from Bristol just for this. First time for my wife and I and we were not disappointed. The food and atmosphere etc were amazing. The only thing that let it down was we seemed to be rushed. We savored our "small plates" meal and as soon as we finished them, our main courses were delivered even before our table had been cleared of our "small plates". I know this was a small thing, but it did detract a bit from our experience, hence not giving a full 5 star review across the board.

We occasionally visit and the food is always spot on with number one in my book. Served hot! Reasonably priced and portions are good too. It is comfortable with a nice ambience and was decorated lovely for Christmas.

Fabulous once again for a little family get together. Food was fabulous … Me and my son attempted the butchers block together but it defeated us the lamb chops , chicken gammon and sausages were beautiful , there was a very large rump steak and personally I would have been prepared to have paid a bit more for a smaller sirloin as it is a leaner cut and the pork chops were ok. My wife had the steak and ale pie which was fab and the chicken gyros pitta to start which was beautiful. Amazing quality food , service second to none and a great atmosphere 10/10.

Lovely food. Menu suggest pub type choice but the quality and presentation is superb. This is a hidden gem. We will certainly be back
