Peppercorn’s Grill is owned and operated by the Cialfi siblings, Sal and Dino, Brothers Sal and Dino purchased Peppercorn's Grill in 1989 and opened Piccolo Arancio in 1994. This generation of Cialfi's has added modern creativity and personality to traditional strengths of their Italian roots. Sal and Dino were trained in the art of Italian food at their uncle's restaurant in Rome. When the opportunity to open a restaurant arose, they jumped at the opportunity and opened the first Piccolo Arancio in Rome. Piccolo Arancio was internationally acclaimed within their first year.     Max is one the few restaurants you can really rely on to be a great meal with great service - one of our faves. Tonight was my husbands bday and they welcomed him with a bday card, served two chocolate truffles with two glasses of Prosecco and a candle, just perfect! What a special meal.

    We had dinner with the grandkids (ages 10 and 7) before A Christmas Carol. Nice menu options for them including salmon, which my grandson ordered and loved. Served in something resembling a bento box or cafeteria tray (only fancy), the kids’ meals were healthy - salad, apples, biscotti. Kids could not have been happier. Food arrived quickly, was fresh and hot. My daughter-in-law is a vegetarian and had the pad Thai. Enjoyed it. I had the salmon. Delicious!! Service was fantastic. Our server was very attentive. Everyone was welcoming and patient with the kiddos.

    Our party of six had a wonderful outing on a busy Saturday night. The staff was attentive to our party’s requests and made very good drink recommendations. Everyone enjoyed their entrees, which included the salmon, grilled chicken breasts, and the ravioli. All were delicious. Even with a full restaurant, it didn’t seem too loud. Our party was able to converse without raising our voices. Although the bar area was really close to our table, we didn’t hear any carryover conversations. That could be due to the light traffic at the bar on this night. But it didn’t seem like a raucous bar would be the norm here on any night. We will likely book here again when we’re in the area for our next show.
