We live McEwens in Oxford. We have been there every time we are in Ixfird and have had birthday and anniversary celebrations there. The table was read for us at the reservation time. We were promptly seated and asked for drinks and our brunch choice. The poached eggs, sirloin steak, grilled shrimp on a toasted English muffin were accompanied with grits and hash browns and the meal was delicious. McEwen’s never disappoints!!!

Could not have had a better experience to celebrate my mother’s 75th birthday! We were seated immediately, taken care of exquisitely by our server, and the food was amazing! The server even decorated my mother’s dessert with the 7 and 5 backwards to make it look like she’s only 57, which we had been joking about. As we left, the server even chased us down in the parking lot because my mother had left one of her gifts on the table. Highly recommend for any special occasion!!

Three of us dined at City Grocery last night and everything was delicious. We especially enjoyed the quail appetizer and the fried oyster salad which we shared. But the entrees were also delicious. Shrimp and grits, pork shoulder and beef falling off the bone. Ended with pumpkin tiramisu that disappeared quickly ! Highly recommend this restaurant! Great wine also.

We had an amazing dinner. We made reservations and our table was ready shortly after we arrived. Everyone at our table ordered something different and no one was disappointed. Delicious.
