Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there. Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients. The décor has a southern influence with antebellum charm & elegant polish, stated most clearly in our reworked air stream trailer parked in the garden for VIP reservations. The whole restaurant will feel like a quirky southern aristocrat’s home…just not exactly what you might think.

Arthurs Steakhouse started in 1948 by Arthurs Bates and his wife off of McKinney Avenue in the Dallas uptown District. It moved to the Gold Towers on Central Expressway and after decades, in 2001, it relocated to Addison where is thrives today. Great place . This was my first time and I reserved for 8 people but one did not make it so 7 of us had a great time. The starters was great. I just couldn’t remember all that we ordered. The gumbo was fantastic and my husband ordered blackened tilapia that’s was delish. I tried Ida froze was amazing.

The Fogo de Chao bar experience provided a good time for my BFF and me to catch up after a busy day at work and with little time to meet up over the past months. The wine was divine, and Jason, the bartender, was attentive, funny, helpful, and energetic. The food at Fogo de Chao is always excellent, and this night was no exception. The one missing element was vegetables. Raw or prepared veggies would have enhanced the delightful tastiness of the evening offerings. We thoroughly enjoyed our outing and will visit in the future.
