- BBobbieHouston •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI love going to Diane American Grill! The food and service is exceptional. My husband is in a wheelchair and they (Carmen) assisted us throughout the show as well as inning back to the theater and taking us to our seats. It was awesome. We ate season ticket holders and dine there every show. They never disappoint!More infoDiana American GrillPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.5
- OTOpenTable DinerVIPHouston •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis has been one of my favorite restaurants since I was in my early 20s. They have always provided excellent service, fantastic food and a wonderful ambience. It is definitely a staple in the downtown Houston Theatre District. I would like to thank R.C. for her kindness on the telephone, and her assistance in helping us to make modifications to our reservation. She gave me her full attention, and she didn’t try to rush me, even though I knew the restaurant was very busy. R.C. made sure she answered all of my questions, and was very present in the conversation. Our lovely waitress, Eli, was very attentive, and had such a sweet spirit, and a huge shout out to Mario, who always remembers us every time we come in and makes sure that we are taken care of. He continues to check on us during dinner and he always has such a beautiful light. In addition, I would also like to mention, the decorations for Christmas were absolutely gorgeous and you could tell that the spirit was alive in the restaurant. It is beautiful, no matter what time of year you go and, the Sunday brunch is always amazing. I know that a lot of people like to go to new restaurants but there’s something so wonderful about the restaurants that have stood the test of time. Birraporetti’s is always amazing.More infoBirraporetti's - Theater DistrictPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown•4.4

Our server, Lee, was well informed and friendly...he really made it a perfect night. All of his recommendations were spot on...from wine to apps to entree...everything he directed us to try was superb. - SSatishHouston •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024The menu has changed since the last time we were there to eat. Food has always been very good. The problem is parking. It was pouring rain, and my arm completely get wet to pull the parking ticket (which is a piece of paper, and it torn while retrieving it). The parking rate is too high and the area should be completely covered.More infoDowntown AquariumPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Downtown•4.7
