- AAutumnVIPWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA hidden gem close to Frederick. Food from local farms keeps things fresh and seasonal on the menu. The short rib was wonderful, tender, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is fantastic. It captures the essence of a country farmhouse with gorgeous mountain views. Perfect for watching the sunset.More infoThe Comus InnPrice: Moderate• American• Dickerson•4.4
- HHeatherWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAlways a pleasure to eat here at Monocacy Crossing! Always consistent in regards to food and service! We are never disappointed! The pork tenderloin is my favorite and they always have a fresh fish featured. I like that they added the snack section on the menu, it gives you a chance to taste more of their wonderful items! This particular time we got the mussels, and the flavors were on point, garlicky and just enough heat with the pepper flakes! We always over ordered so we can eat MC for days! LOVE LOVE LOVE every time we come here! XoxoMore infoMonocacy CrossingPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Frederick•4.8
- JJamesHouston •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy wife and I had an absolutely delicious dinner at Wye Oak -- and not just delicious but fun! The restaurant staff was wonderful, and a major part of our enjoyment of the experience: the charismatic sommelier, Steven, gave us a fantastic wine recommendation; Giovanni helped us navigate the many appetizing menu options with great charm; Stephanie, our server, was cheerful, friendly, and attentive; Charlotte, the smiling and efficient floor manager, managed our experience with precision. Everyone did everything they could to insure our evening was excellent....and it was! My wife had the pot roast, perhaps the best pot roast ever conceived and prepared, and I had a perfectly prepared filet, accompanied by the excellent Alto Moncayo priorat. The setting was beautiful, the service warm, enthusiastic and efficient, and the food spectacular. We look forward to returning!More infoWye Oak TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Frederick•4.6
