Skull Creek Dockside Restaurant, dropped its anchor in the Fall of 2017 and forever changed the culinary landscape of the Lowcountry. In early 2017 the partners of the restaurant began to transform it into their vision for Hilton Head's newest waterfront dining destination. This restaurant, which resembles an old-style river house, is full of authentic architecture, reclaimed wood, and nautical accents that leave you feeling like you've stepped into a Melville novel. The sweeping waterfront view is showcased by full pane glass windows throughout the restaurant which you can enjoy no matter where you dine. The covered patio dining area, and massive outdoor bar, the shark bar, allows patrons to enjoy the Lowcountry climate and serve to further highlight the amazing sunset views over skull creek. If you are concerned about long wait times, the good news is the restaurant accepts reservations and provides a family recreation area between dockside and boathouse. Kids and adults can enjoy a variety of games, the very popular shark bar and 'shrimp boat' playground. Kids can play while families are waiting for a table, or simply enjoying the amazing waterfront views.

River House does have a dressy casual dress code consisting of no shorts, flip flops, baseball hats or tank tops in the dining room for the gentlemen. Comparable attire for the ladies. Children under 16 are exempt. We do offer complimentary pants to guests that may need them. River House corkage policy is a maximum of 3 bottles per reservation without management consent at $35 per bottle. River House has a 24-hour cancellation and No-Show Policy consisting of $25 per person plus a 18% SVC Charge. In the South, there’s an intimate connection between the table and the land. Our fertile soil feeds corn and cattle. The palmettos provide cover for quail and game. And the ocean provides its bounty with the incoming tide.     Busy holiday time and place was “full”. Had a reservation (needed!) and arrived on time. Was seated immediately and greeted by our server. Had a drink, appetizer and our entrees. All very tasty, hot and delicious ! See you again soon.

    Very good experience with Nectar Farm Kitchen! We sat outside which was well heated and busy. Claire was our server and she was very attentive. Our orders included She Crab Soup, Hush Puppies, and a Nectar Salad, all delicious. Entrees included Chicken and Waffles, Broiled Seafood Combo and broiled Mahi Mahi. Very tasty!

    We had a lovely holiday feast at The Pearl. Our waitress was so friendly and the food amazing. I had a strawberry jalapeño margarita that was soooooo yummy. Will definitely return!

    An absolutely lovely evening. We started the evening with a Lemon Drop martini and a martini for the hubby. Very good. We began our foods with the Beef Carpaccio, excellent. The bread was substantial and very good with the Carpaccio. Sometimes it's too hard, this was great. The quail eggs were delicious. Rylie (sp?) our server helped my hubby decide on the Elk Tenderloin as he was undecided. I am so glad she did - WOW. One of the best pieces of meat either of us have ever had. I had the Filet and it was excellent. Overall, an outstanding experience and The Bluffton room has improved over the years to become a place to celebrate those special occasions or just to have the very good burger at the bar. Can't wait until next time!
