Located on Charleston's Upper King Street, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves rustic Italian cuisine.     Menu items and restaurant week offerings were varied and appealing. Service was prompt and attentive. Brussels sprouts were tasty but a little heavy on the bacon and cheese. Salmon entrée was good, and meatball appetizer tasty albeit a bit overly sauced. Dessert Blondie was a delicious highlight and carrot cake was pretty good, but mild.

    We had a fabulous experience! Our server was attentive and bubbly. The manager visited our table and made us feel like VIPs. They even came over and gave us a free app since it was our first time! The ambiance was wonderful. Beautifully decorated. I wonderful date night spot or night with the girls. 10/10 we would recommend!

    New space is very nice. Food is as wonderful as ever. My only issue is with the size of the tables for two - not much room to maneuver once you have three or more dishes on the table along with water glasses, wine and cocktail glasses. I know there’s not much to be done - just an observation and that won’t keep us from coming back soon
