- LLizSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy table loved their dishes but mine was the steak frites which was passable, falling short of preparation and quality. I order it to be medium, but it was cooked to medium well on most of the steak but one side was very rare. I never had such an inconsistent steak like that before. The meat was tough, too. I think I will pass on this dish on my next visit and get the smash burger which looked amazing. The cocktails and deserts were very good, as well.More infoLimewood Bar & RestaurantPrice: Expensive• undefined• Berkeley•4.4

We had the cured tuna special salad to start, the Mezze Maniche and Tortelloni to follow and then shared the Crema Cotta for desert. Excellent food, great service.More infodonato&co.Price: Expensive• Italian• Berkeley•4.5

It consistently delivers excellent food in a great atmosphere with top notch service. I’ve been for a casual night with friends to an anniversary dinner and it was perfect for both- a great time with fantastic food!More infoACRE Kitchen and BarPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Oakland•4.6
- JJeffSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoDelicious food that was deeply flavored and surprisingly bright (sometimes soul food can seem super heavy and overwhelming). A perfect brunch spot. I’m eager to bring others and to try their dinner menu. Chef and staff were very pleasant and professional.More infoBurdellPrice: Very Expensive• Soul food• Oakland•4.5

We got to dinner early (after the Cal game), so we had drinks in their bar, which is adjacent to the restaurant. What a highlight-drinks were spectacular and old school while still being hip and cool. This is a great place for all ages in a stunning location. You really feel a part of the local history. Dinner—OUTSTANDING. All of our orders were different and really a fulfilling experience. The beauty of the building and its facilities makes this space unique, but really the team there, from the bartenders, to the host to the serving staff in the restaurant, are so professional and focused on hospitality—-something that is harder and harder to experience. We will be making this a regular part of our visits to Berkeley.More infoJulia's RestaurantPrice: Expensive• French• Berkeley•4.8
