Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there. Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients. The décor has a southern influence with antebellum charm & elegant polish, stated most clearly in our reworked air stream trailer parked in the garden for VIP reservations.     HO HO HO! Here is an endaring Christmas Story, that the Spirit of Al Biernat would smile. My Party of 11, yes, 4 aldults, 7 kids, had a reservation at another restaurant because Als was packed. I had tried for two weeks. No big deal. We got an 8p Reservatoin at the other place and came at 6p, I asked to be put on waiting list. Mayne something would pop. At 7:45p, our 8p table was now about 8:30p. I OPEN TABLED Al Biernat! And, boom, there is an 8:15p reservation we could get. And We went the 1 mile distance and got put in the Treehouse, private room. Service fantastic, Food Great. Service Prompt. Hungry little kids (my grands) waiting on Santa. Out by 9:30p ,santa did his thing. Als cetainly helped that with cheer, promptness and efficiency. All the managers, bartenders, EVERYONE was incredible. Thank you.
