- AAvestWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFantastic food, service and ambiance as always. We have been coming here for the past two years and it hits the mark every time. We always get Raw Oysters, Oysters Rockefeller, and the mussels in the white wine cream sauce. SO GOOD!More infoPublic Fish & OysterPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Charlottesville•4.9
- RronniVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe Local is a Charlottesville favorite for those seeking great food in an energetic environment. The food is well-prepared and consistently great tasting. Even with a reservation, there may be a 10 - 15 min wait, but it is well worth it!More infoThe LocalPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Charlottesville•4.5
- PPatVirginia •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFirst time back since Duner’s changed hands. We were greeted warmly, seated on the porch, which was warm and comfortable. Noise level not as bad as it usually is in the main dining room. Service was perfect, attentive, friendly. Thrilled to see the duck egg rolls and fried oysters still on the menu; they do not disappoint! Crab cakes were stellar, as always. (Duners and Hamiltons are the only places I will order crab cakes in Cville; grew up picking crab so I have high standards and expect crab cakes without filler.) My husband had the lamb and declared it delicious and perfectly prepared. Almond streusel with cherries a al mode was phenomenal, as was my husband’s raspberry chocolate cake. So happy to know the best parts of the old Duners live on.More infoDuners RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Charlottesville•4.6
- CCharlesVirginia •15 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food was delicious, we had the tuna and short ribs for our dinners with the sea salt olive oil baguette! The cocktails were underwhelming, we ordered gin martinis which served in coupe glass rather than a martini glass and it didn’t feel like a full martini. Service was fine.More infoRidge RoomPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Harrisonburg•4.6
- TTomVIPVirginia •64 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 1, 2024Overall, five star. Nitpicks: we both had surf and turf. Wife’s steak was overcooked, more than requested medium rare. They offered to replace it but that would be wasteful. Accompanying shrimp were peel and eat which was unexpected. Otherwise, no complaints. We would go again if in the area. The inn was a great place to stay.More infoLafayette Inn & RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Southern• Stanardsville•4.4
