Restaurants near Soldiers and Sailors Monument

One of our favorite places to dine when visiting downtown Indy. The shrimp cocktail is always great, the service is attentive, consistent, and more personalized which is great. The Cali chopped salad was very good and definitely sized to split. They bring an extra plate for you to split at the table. My steak was cooked PERFECT, and my wife usually gets Oscar filets but wanted to try the Lobster Sacchetti which was quite delicious. Also highly recommend the strawberry basil Negroni. The subtle note of strawberry and garnishment of basil really takes a standard Negroni to the next level. Thanks again and we will be back to dine on our next visit!

This was our first time dining at Del Frisco, and I have to say, we were all exceptionally pleased with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the stage for a truly memorable evening. The live pianist added an elegant, relaxing touch that perfectly complemented the atmosphere. Our server, Chelsea, was absolutely incredible. She was attentive and knowledgeable and made sure every detail of our evening was perfect. Her warm and professional demeanor elevated the experience even further. The food was terrific! Every dish was expertly prepared, demonstrating the kitchen’s great pride in its craft. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.

We had a great evening. Food was outstanding! I truly love the bread pudding dessert. It was a cold evening in Indy, but the restaurant was warm and inviting.

Every single detail was perfect. From the manager Andrea and hostess greeting us at the door (helping us find a table that was far from the cool draft), to our server’s (Frankie) sweet and friendly nature. I had a long day of travel and their warm reception was everything I needed. The beet salad was the best I have eaten. The mashed potatoes were perfect and my steak was seasoned to perfection as well. The Capital Grille is exceptional ( always!)
