    Ostra gets all of the essentials right - creative cuisine, superb service, comfortable dining space and great location. We are always happy to secure a reservation at this very popular restaurant. We began with perfectly made cocktails (they also have an extensive wine list) followed by first courses of grilled octopus and mushroom risotto. The main courses were Faroe Island Salmon and grilled Bronzino - both amazing. For desert we shared panna cotta. Our waiter was professional, personable and knowledgable assisting with meal choices. The front of the house staff was also accommodating and welcoming. One of our favorite places for dinner for two or more.

    We visit Boston about every other year and make Toscano a must. And it was worth the stop once again. Peter, our waiter, has worked there for over 18 years and did marvelous job of serving us including recommending a wine to go with our dinner choices. Food was tasty and quickly served. We will be back next time.
