fabulous birthday dinner at Anthony's tonight for my hubby's birthday! Garth the waiter was so helpful with our drinks and dinner choices. surf and turf for almost all of us! what a great value that is during the week!

Our sever was excellent. Steak was cooked to perfection. Atmosphere is great. It is expensive but you get what you pay for.

Absolutely phenomenal. I can say, with full confidence, that this is the best restaurant in Bellingham, and one of the best restaurants I have been to within the last 5 years. The ambiance was comfortable, and warm. The food was absolutely delicious, the presentation was gorgeous - and while being gorgeous you could tell immediately that the food was going to be both good and filling. I had both a recommended wine and a cocktail I found interesting, and while the cocktail was exciting and bold, it was able to standout from the food while also complimenting it. The wine was stunning! Crisp and juicy, while also pairing delightfully with the meal and elevating the bc overall taste. The staff were wonderful - they were caring and thoughtful, while also being enthusiastic about the food, drinks, and environment. They clearly knew the menu, but were able to personalize to my tastes and gave both me and my guests, a phenomenal time! They were able to give real recommendations instead of reading a sales script. Every single aspect of our meal was curated, and clearly made with passion, profession, and excitement - I can’t wait to return!

We always have a great experience at Carnal and this time we loved being able to sit next to the roaring fire! The food is innovative and delicious and I had great fun trying my first cocktail that included shiitake mushrooms and whiskey and who knew that could be so good?! Also, the delicata squash was amazing. All in all, a wonderful way to spend a Friday evening :)

Celine, our server, was exceptional. Her great and engaging personality made the dining experience fantastic! It was very busy due to an event in town, so we had to wait on our reservation. The food was great, done exactly how we liked it. Great value for the money. The only drawback was the front of house person, no personality, not a smile to be seen. They are supposed to be the greeter to engage you and get you excited for a dining experience. Your servers are wonderful, but invest in the front, she has no business working with people. We have been coming here the 20 years since we came to Canada, and this person was the worst. The saving grace was that Celine was exceptional, considerate, and very friendly. She saved the experience, and the great food!
