Cooper’s Hawk is my favorite restaurant in Des Moines. Excellent service and the best gluten free menu around. The wine selection is excellent.

I review 801 Chophouse a lot. I am never disappointed and always leave very satisfied with everything. This is truly one of the best places to enjoy a great dining experience. Special thanks to CJ for outstanding service.

Excellent food. I had the bone in New York strip and my wife had the pork chop. She said it was the best she has ever had. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was great for a quiet evening together. It might be at the higher price level but you get your money worth.

The service for ordering food and drinks was perfect. Our server was pleasant and accommodated dietary needs with a smile. All plates were delivered with excellent presentation and the right temperature. Getting until and paying took a bit longer than I expected but wasn’t excessive.

Honestly the wait staff was great and kind, they just didn’t have many food options left and they kept bringing wrong drinks to the table. With as busy as it was and how large our party was I felt they did do a fantastic job and that aside, everything else was exceptional.
