Restaurants near Silver Knolls Park

I had been looking forward to eating here since I first heard of its opening. I have eaten repeatedly at a number of Gr's other restaurants and always been satisfied. Ramsay's Kitchen was no exception Our first course was the Wagyu tartare and the crab cake. The crabcake may have been THE best crab cake I've ever eaten in my life. I couldn't get enough! The Wagyu tartare may not have been the best serving of raw beef Ive had but definitely the quality of the beef was there. I would order this every time in the future! Their Old Fashioneds were good but the third was definitely better than the first two For mains, I had the Beef Wellington and my wife had the scallops. The scallops were amazing but it was a small sized dish. She doesn't eat much so it was a good if not perfect dish for her The Beef Wellington was exceptional. Cooked to perfection and served medium rare and temperature was spot on! For desert was Ramsay's signature sticky toffee pudding and it was nothing short of amazing Service was top notch. Sierra and Brittany were the best! If I had a complaint it might have been the music. Not quite pop. Not quite jazz but whatever it was; it was a bit too loud

We have dined at Roxy many times, in fact every time we’ve been to Reno. This time however, it was probably the best meal yet. My wife had a lobster tail with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus. I had the filet with their glazed carrots. We enjoyed several glasses of Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon with our meal. Dessert was an affogato and we each had a Cafe’ Diablo prepared table side. Absolutely amazing! It’s why we keep coming back!

This was our 14th year coming to Lastrada on Christmas Eve. It has become a family tradition. As always, you did not disappoint. “Tucci” was welcoming and so energetic upon our arrival. What a great front person to have! And our server, Lia was fantastic. The food was amazing, the ambience was great. Love sitting in the back by the wine rack. Truly makes the whole experience! Thank you all for working so hard every single time we are there, and I’m sure every time we are not there. Definitely a Reno gem!! See you soon. 

The spicy shrimp appetizer was incredible! I ordered petite filet and asparagus and my husband the filet and baked potato. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. Our server was so kind and friendly. We sat in the bar area but it was still at a table with a table cloth and the ambiance was still great.

Even though we couldn’t make our original reservation time on Christmas Eve because of flight was delayed, they did a great job of getting us in anyways so we could enjoy our evening. Great food, decent wine pours & the meatball appetizer was delicious and good for a table of 4. :)
