    Delicious food with generous portions. The mussels are the best I've ever had and same for the risotto. The U.D. burger pattie was a bit too salty. Other than that, a perfect night out. Service was incredible. Staff ensures you will feel like the most important people ever.

    This evening was our first time at The Standard. We have been fairly regular patrons of this ownership's other incredible outlets, Undefined & Hambrgr. Although our first time at the newest offering in Downtown Hamilton, it certainly won't be our last! An excellent & varied menu, curated wine list, craft cocktails, and a wide selection of well known & unique beers are all delivered with second to none service! We decided on the roasted mushroom parfait & chili crunch calamari to start. For mains we had the braised beef short rib & the 16oz rib eye pepper steak. The food couldn't have been better. Thank you for a lovely evening, we look forward to visiting again very soon.

    We had a lovely time and absolutely loved the retro vibe of the place. The service was great from start to finish. The food was good…not a fan of the kind of homes fríes they served but overall everything was tasty. LOVED their sourdough bread!
