Food was excellent. Being a slow time of the year we were still very pleased with our server, Delaney (not 100%sure if I got it correct) great service, food was excellent atmosphere perfect. We were visiting with our granddaughter and spouse and they loved everything ! Thx

Michael Anthony’s is the penultimate culinary experience! We first enjoyed our blessed times here in this amazing restaurant when we lived in HHI from 2004-2008. Our favorite then and now, again during this current visit. Wait staff: highly customer-focused, present, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and very capable, able to take high-level care even during busy moments. Manager checked in on us and ensured that our expectations were being wildly exceeded! Chef: scrumptious butternut squash soup with sausage was light, exquisite, and unforgettably delicious! My wife’s go-to favorite in all restaurants - the evening recipe salmon, stood out, cooked to her exact requirements & was her all-time favorite. My lasagna was extraordinary. You cannot eat at a better place! Food is amazing. Service is spot on. The place is small so plan ahead with your reservations. We ate on the porch and the outside temperature was 54 but we were warm inside the porch.

My husband ordered the duck & he said his was cooked perfectly - medium rare. The scalloped potatoes & veggies (green beans & carrots) were also delicious. He cleaned his plate. I had the smoked salmon appetizer which was good, not much different than what can be found in Costco or ordering online - it came with a lovely horseradish & dill sauce. I also had the crab, avocado appetizer which was more interesting. We had an early reservation which is what I prefer to eating later, but there were people waiting by the time we left around 6:30.
