Fantastic evening as always at the Crathorne Arms. From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere set the tone for the evening. The staff as always were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The menu, food and wine were exquisite for a cold winter's evening. We even managed to get a seat in front of the fire which was nice. Overall, the combination of fantastic food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere made for an unforgettable dining experience at the Crathorne Arms. We can't wait to return!

The Blackwell Ox is always good on every level, smiling staff always give a great welcome, the food delicious and the service is always spot on and the hand pull beers top it all off!

Absolutely incredible. Eaten here a few times before and it's always been exeptional! It's usually a special occasion type of place to eat due to the price point but it's a lovely place and definitely worth the cost. Pub has a lovely lively atmosphere and the food is delicious 😋. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Our table wasn't quite ready so we had a drink in the bar first which we didn't mind at all. Would easily recommend to anyone who's looking for epic pub food with a bit of a more gastro high end feel. Amazing place and will definitely visit again.

Love the Black Lion, my family and I have stayed here and had food here on separate occasions. The staff go above and beyond to take car of you, the food is delicious and hot when served, the rooms are cozy and nicely decorated. All round a good pub/hotel. The atmosphere is relaxed and kids friendly. We have booked up to come stay again in March! Great place to eat or stay! Extra shout out as they have experienced an accidental fire in the kitchen and are having to use a catering Van for a temporary kitchen, this has not altered the quality of the food or the service, still top notch grub like always! Highly recommend for families and couples!
