Restaurants near Scofield Park

This is the second time we have dined at the Royal Green. We went on a Sunday evening and took advantage of their prefix menu. It offered a nice variety of appetizers, main meal and deserts for a more than reasonable price. Ann Marie was our server both times and was very attentive and was able to accurately describe dishes when asked. The young bartender made a delicious Cosmopolitan!! Clam Chowder for an appetizer was one of the best I've ever had. Petite Filet Mignon was done to perfection. Desserts were a perfect size to complete the meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Such a beautiful place with the best food I have had in a long time. The chairs at the table were so incredibly comfortable, the right amount of soft and support, and the service was incredible. Everyone there was so friendly and they checked on us perfectly so we never had to wait on another drink. I HIGHLY recommend the steak frites, the fries that come with it are the best tasting fries, it was indescribable. The ambience, food, comfort, service, everything was a 10/10 and I WILL be coming back for more. 100% recommend for everyone to try this place, it will not disappoint.

We love going to the Roger Sherman Inn. It’s very pretty, quiet and upscale. However, the last couple times we’ve been there the service has not been terrific. Not sure if they’re understaffed or if the particular waiter we had last night was new, but extremely slow. The owner was dining in the restaurant at the table next to us with her family. When they were finished with dinner, she was actually clearing plates and taking drink orders. I still love this restaurant.

We enjoyed Elm! My kale salad was excellent and the burger was out of this world.
