Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. Our welcoming and eclectic atmosphere is appropriate for almost any occasion - whether it be meeting a friend for a drink, celebrating an important event, or relaxing after work. Our menu is a mixture of familiar Pittsburgh foods (think pierogies, hamburgers, French fries) and French bistro classics (beef tartare, raclette, mussels), and seasonal classics that come and go throughout the year. I was happy that the staff was able to accommodate my request of putting the tables together to accommodate my large party and still separating the checks. My mother had done difficulty navigating all the stairs with her cane. The cornbread was drier than I remember, but everyone else seemed to thoroughly enjoy their food. The presentation of the cake was beautiful and my daughter was very happy. Thank you for a great 19th bday experience.
