Built in 1880, The Inn was at one time a brothel, until it was raided by federal officers. The Inn was a favorite site of cowboys and teamsters, who appreciated the fine foods and jovial atmosphere.Over 100 years later, the Inn at Tres Pinos is now a San Benito County Historical Landmark, carefully restored by owner, Mike Howard. The ambiance is intimate, rustic, and elegant. It’s country with a touch of class, and decorated in a style that is a reflection of Mike’s personal interest. Mike's grandfather taught him the the art of fly-fishing, and every year the family still fishes together at the Big Wood River in Sun Valley, Idaho.     This was our first time trying this restaurant. It was a wonderful experience. Everything from the delicious food to the excellent service made our first visit the best experience possible. We started with the Manilla clams. There was an abundance of clams and the broth was creamy and full of flavor. Perfect for dipping some bread after. We had the Halibut and the rib eye and both were cooked to perfection. Shout out to our waiter Kevin who gave us wine recommendations and really great service. We will definitely come back again soon

    Loved everything. I got the chicken Marsala it was absolutely delicious. My cocktail & dessert didn’t disappoint either. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The staff was nothing but friendly & attentive. Will definitely go back!!

    it was our anniversary and we had never been there before. Easy booking online, choice of where to sit and excellent service. The food was amazingly delicious and order the minestrone soup was so comforting too We will be back !! Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

    The restaurant ran out of surf & turf supply, we were offered alternatives. The food is equally good, however, the price difference wasn’t mentioned. We thought the price of the alternate would be close to the original order. No, ot was 50% more. The service was great.
