Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. After a long and heartwarming road at our current location, we thought for the need of moving. Our new home, located at Alvaro Obregon 65 bis - a much wider space where gleams of natural light shine upon the surface-, is carefully assembled by Gabriela's meticulous look, and a kitchen built within Eduardo García's early memories, while living as an inmigrant in a barn in Ohio. Despite this big change, our principles initially founded remain the same: to offer food that distinguishes the best of local products.

Loved the food! The view is to die for. It’s a great chance to mix it up in Mexico City. I preferred the cooked food over the sushi.

La Gruta in Teotihuacan is a unique dining experience set inside a stunning natural cave—a truly memorable spot. The ambiance is amazing, and the cool, earthy vibe of the cave adds to the magic of dining near the ancient pyramids. The food was fantastic, with flavors that felt both authentic and refined. Dishes were beautifully presented, and everything we ordered was delicious. That said, be prepared for a bit of a splurge. Main dishes typically range from $20 to $25, and specialty drinks like margaritas can go over $15. It’s definitely one of the pricier spots around, but if you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind experience and quality, it’s worth it!
