- DDavidNorthampton/Northamptonshire •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWhat a lovely warm and inviting pub! Food was excellent and varied and catered well for one of our party who is Caeliac. The chef came to our table to say hello and to tell us she could adapt most of the menu to be gluten free. We will definitely be making another visit in the very near future.More infoThe Old PheasantPrice: Moderate• Pub• Uppingham•4.4
- HHilaryLeicestershire •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe always book a table here during our annual holiday to Rutland and would highly recommend a visit. The food is exceptional and is a very reasonable price, given the food quality and standard of service. When you arrive you are greeted by the smell of the home-made bread that is baked every day and everyone gets this to begin, along with some flavoured dipping oil and speciality butter. Today's butter was sea salt and seaweed. Scott, Carol and their team make you feel at ease and provide efficient and unobtrusive service, whilst maintaining a casual feel. We had booked for our wedding anniversary and we found a handwritten card waiting on out table, a nice personal touch. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area.More infoThe WheatsheafPrice: Moderate• British• Oakham•4.9
