- LlisaWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe restaurant was warm and inviting from the moment I walked in and approached the host stand. The hostess was kind to take me to the table even though the rest of my party wasn't there. Devon (Devin), our server, was gracious and informative about menu items, especially as one of the three of us at the table is lactose intolerant. Salmon for one of us came out underdone but the situation was handled quickly and efficiently. My crabcake was outstanding. It was a lovely meal in a lovely setting. And Devon (Devin) was very good.More infoAda's on the RiverPrice: Moderate• American• Old Town Alexandria•4.7
- CConnieWashington, D.C. Area •10 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was our first visit to the restaurant and it was lovely. We were nearly the only guests because we just had a snow event a few days prior. So it was quiet and it allowed us to talk easily and walk around and enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant. Food was excellent and I highly recommend. For dessert, we had the Chai soufflé. I would not classify it as a soufflé, but it was even better than expected. It was dense and flavorful and I would have loved a bigger piece!! We would love to visit again during sunlight hours so we can see the water!More infoCedar KnollPrice: Expensive• American• Alexandria•4.5
- JJenniferWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 4, 2025The wait staff was amazing. Our server was attentive and very accommodating. The restaurant was wonderfully decorated in colonial decor and was clean and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious but the portion sizes were a bit small for the price. Overall we were very pleased with our dining experience.More infoMount Vernon Inn RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Alexandria•4.6
