Restaurants near Route 29 Stone Arch Bridge

Went with a group of 9. Some things were cold (mashed potatoes, appetizer meatballs)… but everything was very tasty. Our waiter seemed a little rushed/busy, but still provided excellent service. We appreciated the small, private room for our larger group.

Always delicious and high-quality food, and excellent and friendly service. On our rotation and we always look forward to our dinner experiences there.

Wonderful dining experience. We met friends there who had never been before and it's now their new favorite.

We really enjoyed our meals at Canal Side Inn. The food was excellent! Could not have been better. From interesting and fresh soup and salad choices, to well prepared and presented main courses and desserts, everything was great. The atmosphere is like taking a step back in time, with wood paneling and even a full phone booth outside the bar area. The music, tunes I remembered hearing at my grandparent's house, complemented the environment nicely. Tables were beautifully set and the service pleasant and attentive. The only thing that was a slight negative, and due to the age and location of the space, was a musty smell initially upon entering. A little bit like a grandparent's house, too! :) In no way did that impact the overall experience for us, and we will definitely be back.

5-star experience all the way around. Our party of 6 sampled across the food and drink menus, including desserts. We were not disappointed! Such a treat to find in downtown Utica. We will be back!
