Only comment I would say is that being a later seating 9:30 they really pushed food on us before we were done with the previous course. Not in such a manner that truly interrupted the experiance but we struggled to keep up with the two bottles of very special wines be brought to pair with the courses. Food was perfect and the server was spectacular! I love the policy of whosever card is first is the one that is charged it really keeps the arguing to a minimum. Sat at the front door with party of six and I was worried but never did we feel a draft or to much traffic really magnificent. Not sure if they have dessert but we were never offered a menu for it or ask about it. We did get a bowl of ice cream for the birthday which was very generous. Can’t wait to come back soon to see how this institution continues to improve! Truly can’t imagine many ways they could!More infoHouse of Prime RibPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.8
- CCynSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe cauliflower was an amazing combination of tastes and texture. Our server recommended the delicious cornbread as a side and did not disappoint. Despite being smaller than expected, the basteeya was tasty in its wonderfully flaky shell, but probably a fine portion for one person (we ate family style). The braised lamb shank fell off the bone and rounded out our meal. Don't forget to try the imaginative non-alcoholic drinks and date cake (not too sweet). They warn you in advance about the 6% SF Health surcharge.More infoAzizaPrice: Expensive• Californian• Richmond District•4.7
- NNamiSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI was so excited to make a dinner reservation at Dalida because I had watched Top Chef, and I wanted to support Chef Laura! My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday there and Alta really took care of us. We got the chef’s menu, which we thought was such great value! They don’t really tell you what you’re going to get, until it has arrived at your table. It was really fun to keep trying every delicious surprise! All the food was very tasty and beautiful. I loved the stuffed mussels and the bread with assorted dips, in particular. We also got a few drinks, I got the Yogi Bear (NA) and my boyfriend got the Horse Warrior. Both were delicious and we were very pleased at how quickly the bar turned out our drinks. At the end, of course, they brought us a complimentary birthday dessert with a candle on it, in addition to the 2 desserts included in the Chef’s menu! Needless to say, we were stuffed. The ambiance was great, the room was well put together, and the service was all very attentive! 10/10 would recommend, for sure!More infoDalidaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Presidio•4.7
- JjezzicaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •84 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoExcellent Turkish restaurant on Clement St. We had the dip trio and the papas bravas to start - fantastic! I ordered the halibut as my entree, and my partner ordered the burger. The halibut was beautifully cooked, and the mashed potatoes with the pearl couscous salad complimented the delicate fish. The burger was terrific. We'll definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.More infoLokmaPrice: Moderate• Turkish• Richmond District•4.8
