Experience dining approximately 30 feet below ground in historic caverns that were hand built in the 1800's. Accidentally discovered in 2018 during the building of our parent restaurant, Hudson and Essex, we have refurbished the caverns once used to store beer before air conditioning into a one of a kind dining experience. Every Friday and Saturday night we provide an 8 course dinner with wine pairings from our home winery ( Cypress Hill Winery ) using wines made with California grapes. Prepaid reservation only. Food, service and ambiance were extremely unique and exceptional. The location is rich in history and was happily explained to us by the staff. Comfortable and chic setting. Unique and delicious food set with pairings their own wine. Service that was both professional and attentive - yet relatable and inviting. I can’t say enough about the entire experience

Couples birthday celebration for the wife. Our server, Tia(?) was delightful and courteous. The salads were tasty as well as the cocktails. A couple of people who got steaks said they were cooked perfectly but really light on seasoning that was finally attained through the accompanying sauce. The portions were on point and the offerings were plenty. The decor parallels the exterior with a warm, whimsical yet majestic feel. If you are offered anything with Blueberries, do not deny yourself this pleasure!

If you want a quality dining experience, this is the place try. Excellent service and the food was fantastic. Our waiter Reed was the best! And we got to meet the owners and have a wonderful fill-on on the history of the place. Loved the experience.

The food was great! We had a long wait as they had a huge party prior to our arrival but our server was awesome. It was my husband's birthday so because of the wait they up graded a desert for him!!
