Restaurants near Renaissance Tower

Reviews and photos on Google made it seem as if this would be a little more elevated than it was. That’s my fault ultimately, but food was priced at a more upscale restaurant when quality and proportions (ie heavy pasta, light on protein) were similar to a chain. It was a cold night, they kept leaving the main door open, which was near where most patrons that evening were sitting. We all had to keep reminding them to close it and keep our coats on to eat. Again, I may not have read closely enough because it was definitely an Irish pub (not what I felt it was marketed as or I would not have selected that for a date night) with a menu of 1-2 items per cuisine (ie Italian, Indian, Irish, etc). Was just a little disappointing overall.

Bryan was our server and was brilliant. Took the time to get to know our likes and dislikes. My wife has an egg allergy and he is obviously well versed in the menu so made great suggestions. Also got to talk to the GM Ki. He also made the dining experience wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed/wanted. Great experience overall. Definitely a pricier meal, but excellent for a special night. Will come back.

Everything was spectacular! From the greeters, the complimentary champagne as a welcome drink, the quality of the meats (cooked to perfection), sides, and desserts were delicious. The waiter showed knowledge and gave us options. Highly recommended to enjoy a great dinner.

I love this place not only is the food amazing, the service and the wonderful people that work there... Cynthia was our server tonight great job girl!!!

I enjoyed myself there. However I wasn’t aware of the hidden fees. I brought a cake & had to pay $6 per person just to cut my own cake. Also for parking it states that there is a $10 fee but when you get your vehicle it’s much more, they do not honor what the website states in regard to valet parking etc.
