Great food, great service. The team at Fiume work hard to create a point of difference and always deliver excellence. Don't book a table if you are looking for budget priced food and glossy chain pub menus but do book if you are looking for a different experience that never fails to deliver (just be prepared to book in advance as there will be a waiting list).

We have been to the Bay Tree on several occasions and keep returning because the food is consistently very good. Last Saturday, the steak & mushroom pie was excellent and the chips (crispy on the outside & soft in the middle) were the best ever. On a raw January day, our meals were served really hot, which is exactly what we needed. Full marks to both the chef and our waitress. At the end of the meal, completely empty plates went back to the kitchen, which says it all really.
