Last minute booking as passing by but very glad we did. The food was amazing value for money at such high quality. Simple menu but presented wonderfully. I have had afternoon tea there previously which was equally exceptional but pleased to say the rest of menu just as good. Can’t wait to return next time in Cumbria : )

Another great experience, food delicious as always, staff were attentive and friendly, portion sizes a little different with the lamb to the first time I had it but overall another fantastic dining experience!

As ever, excellent food and excellent customer service. Love the ambience here. No pressure and relaxed whilst being attentive. I travel over an hour to get here and have introduced friends, who themselves have returned and spread the love! What a marvellous place. Whiskey gift shop (and other goodies) a must and staff in the gift shop so helpful and full of advice. Thank you.
