Gin & Cocktail Bar The original 1840s sandstone walls of the building Frank Mac’s now occupies a 120-person capacity bar which flows from outdoor seating on George Street, across two levels and into a back courtyard. Whereas the downstairs space feels cosy and intimate, dotted with vintage leather banquettes, dark jade and light orange velvet armchairs, low tables and a fireplace, the ground level you’ll walk into off George Street will reflect the energy of the bartenders working behind the almost five-metre-long oak bar. We ordered the Kangaroo Skewers, Yellowfin Tuna and a Tomahawk steak, along with broccolini and pumpkin as sides to share. Every dish was excellent. It exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend visiting for an incredible meal. We plan on going again.
