The Cat Inn is a 16th century free house set in the picturesque village of West Hoathly, a hilltop village set in the heart of the Sussex countryside. It is in within easy distance from the towns of East Grinstead and Haywards Heath and only 25 minutes from Gatwick Airport. The Pub with its oak beams and two inglenook fireplaces proffers a warm and cosy atmosphere in the winter, whilst our terrace is perfect to enjoy a drink and food in the summer months. Being a free house we pride ourselves in the quality of our real ale, and concentrate on local breweries, such as Harvey's of Lewes and other micro breweries.     Food was good quality. Bar staff helpful. One of the table staff was very efficient but the other lacked experience and got part of our order wrong, which was only partially rectified. Quite expensive overall. Menu wasn't as extensive as shown online.

    First time we’ve visited - glad we did and glad we booked!! Food, service and ambience were all amazing. I had the marmite mushrooms on sourdough and partner had omelette - both delicious. We will be back

    My wife and I went for a evening meal.  Welcome was lovely. Food is good quality, portions are plentiful, and taste is great! H .could not  fault it. Place done out lovely felt like little texas.

    A fantastic Thai Restaurant which myself and my Wife attend every month or two. The food is fantastic, lots of vegetarian options and their prices are pretty fair for what you get. The staff are very warm and welcoming and make us feel at ease and willing to stay sitting and chatting after our meals. I hope this restaurant is around for many years to come, because there’s not many other places we’d choose to eat than this one!
