Restaurants near Pikes Peak Resort

Overall this restaurant is very good. But be forewarned it’s expensive. I had the filet and it was outstanding; tender and cooked exactly like I preferred. My wife had the scallops which weee also very good however the sweet potato gnocchi was not. I love gnocchi but she does not. They wouldn’t sub out something else so she tried them. The flavor was lacking and they seemed greasy. All in all a great experience.

First time we ever dined here! It was for my husband’s birthday. Service, food and view were all wonderful. We will be back again for another birthday in May, reservations are already made!

The view and the service were outstanding! At this point a reservation is best to get a table. We felt the cocktails and food needed some refinement. For our tastes, several of the signature cocktails were too sweet, the sushi rolls were unusually salty, and the matcha powder on the edamame was unusual. I would stick to the Pork Bao Buns or the Tuna Nachos for a bite to eat—or grab dinner in the restaurant downstairs as it is excellent!

We booked for sunset time and enjoyed the views. The mushroom risotto and sticky Toffee Bread pudding for dessert were fantastic!!

It was my first time at Steakhouse at Flying Horse, and I was impressed with the atmosphere, thank you for the beautiful evening great service, and delicious food.
