It started great! The restaurant is gorgeous and clean. Hostess was so nice and friendly. Great table. Great vibe and energy. Awesome waiter. Terrific wine list by the glass and my husband ordered a Negroni which he loved. We started with the shrimp and avocado salad. Still thinking about it as it was absolutely delicious. We then ordered a margarita pizza (in NYC we wanted a good pizza) uba pizza. Cant stand uba Hassan but we love spicy so we went with it and parpadelle with short rib. Nothing was great. Just okay. Only took a few bites of pasta. The short in was mushy and over powering and the egg noodles were overcooked. I did not like it at all. It tasted more like a goulash. The margarita pizza was watery and undercooked. The Uba pizza tasted like buffalo sauce on a pizza. Not impressed. The Langham suggested this restaurant but it was a miss for Italian Americans. Oh and the entire staff only spoke Spanish to each other. Would only go back for drinks and that salad!

Amazing as always. The maitre’d made our night after coming by and chatting with us. The hostess did a great job as well on a busy night.

I had the best time! La Grand Boucherie has such a beautiful ambiance. Feels very chic when you enter. The bar is stunning. The staff was very friendly, bathrooms very clean. For starters my friend & I shared the ceaser salad. We each had a glass of Sancerre, perfect compliment to our meal. I ordered the Filet Mignon au poivre - it was perfection! I tried my friend’s Bavette au diane which was also fantastic. We shared a side of haricots vert- they were great as well. For dessert we shared profiteroles & the chocolate caramel tart. A great way to end our meal! Sooo good! The chocolate was not too sweet & not too bitter- it was practically perfect with every bite! The service was fantastic. The perfect last supper before my travels… Can’t wait to come back!

I picked this restaurant by looking at online reviews. I could not have made a better choice. Our reservation was on time. We walked in, sat down and were immediately greeted by our server. Emily was her name. She was without a doubt, one of the best servers I have ever had the pleasure of working with she treated my wife and me as if we were her only customer and we were the most important people in the restaurant. It was truly a special occasion for us. The food was everything that she had said it would be and everything that I read online. It was fabulous. We took her suggestions for some of the dishes we got and every suggestion she made was fantastic. I will go back to Carmines anytime I’m in New York City.

We had a magical and memorable evening. The food, service and ambience was spectacular. A view of the Empire State Building with snow falling was unbelievable
