In a trip filled with amazing food this was easily the best meal we ate while in Budapest. Everything was perfectly seasoned, the staff were all super pleasant, joking with the bartender as we sat directly in front of him, and the ambiance was great. My only regret is that we didn’t get to try everything on the menu due to the limits of our stomachs!

I don’t usually leave a review, but after two nights of misses - this was an absolute hit from a wonderfully warm welcome, to amazing food (beautiful flavours and meticulous presentation) in a gorgeously designed interior. All this for a few £ than the soul less Hard Rock Cafe the previous night. Book Mercatino you will not regret it xx

This is an excellent restaurant with outdoor seating if you prefer. Beautiful view of the parliament building, which is just a few steps away. The service was outstanding, the ambience was that of a very nice bistro. I ordered a main dish of three different fish, and it was excellent. The service was good. I informed the restaurant through my booking that my date would be having a birthday that day. They brought a piece of cheesecake with a candle in it to her at the conclusion of our meal. Top-notch!
