At Mayfield, we celebrate fresh and local. We take great pride that the produce served at Mayfield is grown onsite in our garden and the remainder is handpicked from local partners. So as you wander through the Garden Centre in the morning, you may well be eating from its bounty a little later in the day. Because we grow our produce, our menu changes with the seasons. The kitchen garden team chat daily with our chefs to make plans and sow the seeds, and when those fruits and vegetables are at their seasonal best, that’s what you’ll find on our menu. You can also take a piece of Mayfield home with you. Choose from our very own delicious jams, chutneys and oils along with other local merchandise.     Byng St Cafe's menu (now changed monthly!) is absolutely to die for. Recommend buying a lot of things to share, definitely recommend the risotto and the short ribs currently! The wait staff were really attentive and knowledgeable, always being there to field questions or quickly take our order. Would recommend!

    Probably the best Italian meal we have ever eaten and we’ve been to Italy many times. From the moment we arrived we were looked after and the set menu was incredible value. The staff are lovely and interested in people. This is what it’s about :people and food. The burrata and olive oil was exceptional. The ragu & spaghetti vongole are awesome., To top it all we loved the Heifer crossing Chardonnay snd local pinot noir and the Sicilian desserts. You spoiled us. The whole experience was truly wonderful. The barn is nice and rustic snd interesting. You are all 3 working so hard to please your customers. Thank you very much, We loved our dining experience and hope you will continue to be successful and enjoy what you do Clare & Francis Luscombe

    A wonderful setting for a catch-up with family friends. Meals are essentially designed to share with the table, and the food was lovely. The staff were wonderful assisting with my dietary allergy. Across the whole evening the staff were lovely, professional yet friendly. We would all highly recommend.

    A bit of a drive out of town, but well worth the effort. The food was great, cooked beautifully and tasted fantastic. Waitstaff very attentive, nothing was a bother. Will definately book again.
