Lavagna opened its doors on February 1st 1999.The restaurant offers casual Italian trattoria fare at moderate prices. The vibe is candlelit, cozy, with an old wood burning oven, exposed brick walls, a pressed tin ceiling and a small wine bar where one can dine also.     The best meal!!! The service was phenomenal, our waiter was wonderful. The gnocchi was light and we didn’t feel overly full after eating quite a lot. Everything was delicious! I cannot wait to go back.

    LOVE Bondst. My favorite Japanese resto in NYC 25 years and counting. And I love how they take care of their regulars. Best order... Yuzu Martini, crab salad, tuna crispy rice, spicy crispy shrimp, chicken katsu bao, miso sea bass skewers, and chocolate lava cake.

    Lavagna is definitely a diamond in the ruff when it comes to authentic Italian food. I’ve been to Italy over a dozen times and their food and the their recipes are as good as any restaurants in Rome, Florence, Sorrento and beyond. The wine selection was excellent and the service experience was spot on. Kudos to the chef and the owners. 100% Deliciousioso!!!

    We had an incredible dining experience with the service, food and intimate ambiance. Shout out to the manager Mark for his exceptional warmth and hospitality as well as Joe our very knowledgeable server and Zach and Andy our bussers. The whole team work seamlessly to ensure a flawless dining experience. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
