The Crown is an independently run award-winning freehouse in the heart of Hastings Old Town, open at 11am every day. Our kitchen is open 12-4, 5 till 9. We serve modern British food in a friendly informal environment using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. We create dishes from scratch, including homemade bread, fish from the surrounding seas and seasonal veg.We serve local real ales & craft beers, wine and a specialist gin and whisky selection and delicious coffee.'High Top Tables' refers to our high tables with bar stools. The food was absolutely incredible! So tasty, came out piping hot and quick service! My friend who’s originally from Spain sent compliments to the chef for the tapas! Staff were lovely as well! Highly recommend and we will be back!

A really pleasant surprise to find such a good Italian on Hastings Old Town seafront. We had a fantastic meal in the casual deli-style setting with authentic Italian food and great service, all our dishes were extremely good and would highly recommend.

Great, friendly service with a very impressive menu! Our meals were excellent - whitebait to start (big enough to share) and Seafood Linguine for main (fabulous) and served in a timely manner. Very good wine selection and the restaurant has a calm feel. Can’t wait to visit again!
