I had Steak Tartare and Delta Rice Bowl. The rice was especially delicious, and I was satisfied with the food. The server and manager were also very friendly. If I visit Washington again, I would like to visit again.

Each meal, each bite!, is full of surprises and fun! The food is inventive, expertly prepared to appeal to all the senses, often taking traditional dishes and reimaging them in unexpected forms, but always -- always -- profoundly delicious. The service is totally professional, yet friendly and casual if the server senses that's the vibe the guests are in. One of our party had a allergy to garlic, and our server was careful to check with the kitchen to make sure no garlic was included in any of his dishes, and came back and flagged one of his dishes, giving him a chance to change his order. The setting is breathtaking, in the atrium of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, elegant but not fussy or ornate, just right. I strongly recommend Bazaar to anyone for a special occasion. The portions are not big, you don't leave over-full, but leave both satisfied and still excited on the trip José has taken you on. The experience is even more fun than the quality of the food.

I really enjoy dining at Oyamel! I have visited this restaurant 3 or 4 times, and have always had a positive experience. The guacamole and Oyamel Margarita with the Salt Air are must orders. You can’t go wrong with either a few small plates or a few tacos for each guest!
