Becca never fails to impress.. The ambiance within Becca at the Cavalier Hotel is refined and serene, providing the perfect setting for conversation, whether it be with a loved one of a business colleague. While the menu leans toward the higher end, it is ideal for special occasions. My wife and I had an outstanding meal served by Samantha, an attentive waitress who has been with the restaurant since it opened after the total renovation of the hotel over ten years ago. Afterwards we carried our glasses of wine a few steps away to the Raleigh Room for jazz night, which included two talented singers, one of whom was Miss Virginia 2024. All-in-all, there is no restaurant or venue in the Tidewater area of Virginia that rivals Becca.

The service we received was nothing short of extraordinary, making our dining experience truly memorable. Each dish that emerged from the kitchen was a masterpiece in its own right. We indulged in delectable sushi that was expertly crafted, succulent salmon that melted in our mouths, and fried rice that was bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delightful revelation, leaving us craving more of the culinary magic we had just experienced.

This place is well worth the stop in. I was a server most of my adult life so I am a little critical. Service was spot on. The hostess was welcoming and accommodating. The environment is cozy. Huge beautiful fireplace when you walk in. The food was incredible. It’s pricey but well worth it. I couldn’t believe the amount of food I received on my plate. I highly recommend this place! Seated immediately, drink order taken in first 2-3 minutes. Food order was very prompt and delivery of meal within 10 minutes. Three of us- my friend got pumpkin bisque and biscuits which she said were excellent. My wife got a harvest bowl which was both tasty and attractive. My chicken fingers and fries were solid.
